With Jungle Animals as the theme for this month’s Urban Jungle Bloggers, I enlisted the help of two of my boys for this post.
Since we don’t have any real wild animals (or even domesticated ones), I borrowed my youngest’s collection of toy jungle animal figurines to use as props.
With our cast of lions, elephants, snakes, giraffe and a zebra, we had lots of fun together creating various jungle scenes; with a backdrop of different plants to help add to the drama.
The setting for our jungle was my plant bench: an outdoor seat in the summer and the perfect place for a little indoor garden during the winter months. An assortment of succulents, herbs and a fern that I keep on it were used to create the lush foliage for our jungle.
Naturally, the jungle teddy bears couldn’t be left out, and decided to make a guest appearance.
You could say we had a Roooooooooaaaaarrr of a time!

Very cute your jungle animals:-) What a fun post. Loved this month’s assignment.
Hope you’re well.
Thanks so much Tina. Yes it was good fun and my youngest enjoyed getting involved in it too 🙂
